Here We Present An Exceptional Kentish Jazz Duo

Vocalist Nicola Palmer and pianist Alex Bennett take the raw elements of Jazz performance, spontaneity and creativity in reaction to the moment, selecting from their collection of pieces, encompassing jazz standards, American folk songs, 70’s West-coast ballads and Soul music and anything through to the music of today.

Alex Bennett

A Kent-based pianist and synth-player with vast session work credits in the field of Jazz, Pop and Soul music who has performed at many iconic venues across Europe and The USA including Wembley Stadium, The Royal Albert Hall and Montreux Jazz festival.  His credits include Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend, Chrissie Hynde, Dave Stewart and Joss Stone and most recently, the conductor Jules Buckley in conjunction with Quincy Jones, Corey Henry and Stormzy. 

Nicola Plamer

Nicola is a Kent based vocalist, songwriter & educator.

Originally from a classical background, Nicola's love is now deep rooted in Jazz, Blues & Soul. Heavily influenced by Al Jarreau, Mark Murphy, Sarah Vaughan, Patti Austin and hundreds more, Nicola loves to rework beautiful songs to her own style.
